How does RHA fillers work?

RHA® fillers contain modified hyaluronic acid (HA) with long and short chains cross-linked using TEO® technology (oligomer processing technology).

  • The long chains of HA provide volume and firmness, smoothing wrinkles and restoring facial contours.
  • The short HA chains enhance the integration of the filler into the skin tissue, providing a natural and long-lasting result.

The RHA filler treatment process involves several steps.

  1. Consultation: before starting the procedure, a consultation with a cosmetologist who will discuss your desires, assess the condition of the skin and help you choose the most appropriate type and volume of the drug.
  2. Preparation: the skin is treated with an antiseptic agent to prevent infection. In some cases, local anesthesia may be used to reduce discomfort during the procedure.
  3. Filler injection: the cosmetic surgeon injects the filler into the selected areas using a fine needle or cannula. Conducts injections following a pre-arranged plan to achieve the desired aesthetic effect.
  4. Massage and modeling: after injecting the filler, a gentle massage or modeling is performed to distribute the filler evenly and achieve optimal results.

The procedure lasts 30–60 minutes.
